Celebrating the documentary films that have made the
greatest impact on society

Chasing Ice, CITIZENFOUR, Food Chains,
Miners Shot Down, Virunga

Congratulations to the five outstanding filmmaking teams!

To recognise their achievements, we are publishing an Impact Report on each of the five films, sharing ideas and best practice for the whole field. Each of the film teams have also been awarded $5,000 and a hand crafted award. With thanks to The Fledgling Fund for generously donating the prize money.

One of the five winners can win an extra $5,000 with your support. Show the films some love and give a virtual Hi5 to the film you think has had most impact.

The film with the most tweets with #DocImpactHi5 and the film’s twitter handle by midnight PST on Monday 29th February will receive an additional $5,000 to put towards their work.

Not sure what to tweet? Grab one of our examples below.
